QRS: Usually wide (> 0.12 sec)

Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW ECG) is a condition in which electrical signals traverse an abnormal extra electrical pathway of the heart call the bundle of Kent. This may cause the ventricles to prematurely contract. This can result in supraventricular tachycardia. WPW is a common cause of fast pediatric heart rate problems.
