NG is a 7-month-old female who is brought into the emergency department by her parents because of dyspnea and frequent cough. Her parents indicate that she has a recent history of ‘a cold’ and a low grade fever. Her temperature is 101.2o F. SpO2 on room air is 90%. She has a frequent nonproductive cough, She is alert and crying when examined. She appears to be in respiratory distress with nasal flaring and intercostal retractions. Use the Auscultation tab to identify lung sounds.
